British tabloids are reporting that Madonna has been contacted by an unnamed, Las Vegas casino for a five year, $1 billion agreement.
Why a British tabloid is keeping up with Sin City’s entertainment, I have no idea. But I’m not the only one who’s skeptical. The Las Vegas Review-Journal met with a local entertainment agent that said even if the offer was legit, that the “number is double inflated.”
According to pollstar.com’s math, “if Madonna made a deal with say, the 4,298-capacity Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, she could eke out $750 million over five years if she averaged $200 per ticket and performed four or five nights per week, 50 weeks out of the year.”

Madonna has been spotted in Paris filming for her new movie, “W.E.“ This time you can find the ‘Material Girl’ behind the camera, as director!
Her directing debut was 2008’s “Filth and Wisdom,” a story about a Ukrainian cross-dressing punk-rocker.
The movie is scheduled to hit movie theaters sometime in 2011. It is a romantic drama telling the story of the affair between King Edward VIII and American Wallis Simpson. The film stars Abbie Cornish, Natalie Dormer, Oscar Isaac and James D’Arcy.
In other Madonna news, she was honored in the 2011 Guinness World Records as the Top-selling Female Recording Artist. Album sales totaled 75 million in the US and 200 million abroad through December 2009.
